What is Technovista ?
Technovista is a Name of annual Technical Event which is organized every year in the college under the auspices of ISTE Local and Student
Chapter .
Who are Participants of Technovista ?
Participants of the event are
students from various Engineering
colleges across the state of Telangana
What is the purpose of
Technovista ?
The main objective of Technovista
is enhance presentation skills of students on current Technical Trends and provide platform to inquisitive learners to
expand their knowledge and also inculcate in them competitive spirit.
What is the Sponsoring authority of Technovista. ?
The Governing Body of Sri
Venkateswara Engineering College headed by its Hony. Secretary is the chief
Sponsorers of the Program every year. Additional Sponsorship is sought from leading industries and other agencies in
the town.
What is the process of evaluation ?
Performance of Students is evaluated by Subject
Experts in the Field who are
invited from outside. Each participant is required to send an abstract of the
topic decided by the panel either
through e mail or post. Following the Screening process invitations will be
sent to aspirants to join as participants. Each student will be given some time
for presentation and it will be evaluated
by subject experts. Best presentations will be awarded cash prizes. Each
participant will be given Participation
certificate.
What about the food and
accommodation to outstation participants. ?
Out station participants will be
provided accommodation by Hospitality Committee of the college on prior
intimation. Tea ,Refreshments and Lunch will be provided to all participants of
the occasion.
Is there any provision for joint participation ?
Yes. Maximum two students can give a single presentation. Cash prize is
distributed to both in case it is a joint presentation in case of recognition.
What is the registration fee of the participation ?
An amount of Rs.300.00 is to be
remitted for each presentation. Participation fee can be paid directly to our
Bank account No 52123……. With IFSC code
SBIN0020176 or can be sent to college in
the form of DD. Each Registration will
be acknowledged and Registration kits will be given by Registration Committee.
What is Key Note Address ?
Key note address is a presentation
given by Subject Experts at the beginning of the presentation session covering
current trends in the field of technology related to each branch. It is very
beneficial all student community.
What other events are conducted
along with Technovista ?
Various co events such as Code
debugging, Code making, Line follower, Robo race, Rubi cube, Poster or Painting
competition, Project expo and science expo etc events will be organized.
Cultural events will be conducted on the following day.
What is the structure of Technovista ?
It is a 2 day event. The first day
there will be inaugural programme in the Morning session followed by
departmental presentations. The following day will be evaluation of performance
and valedictory session and cultural events.
What is the back ground of College ?
The college is governed by
prestigious the Exhibition Society of Hyderabad. It is the one of the premier
institutes of Technology established in 1998 and affiliated to JNTUH. The
principal of the college is Dr. M Raju
Prof. of Mech. Engg and Dr.D. Kiran Kumar
is the Director of Administration in the college. The courses permitted
are CIVIL, EEE, Mech, ECE, CSE.
Who are the organizers of Technovista Committee ?
The programme is organized under
the supervision of Special Committee appointed by College Administration.
Presently the convener of Technovista is Dr. P.Krishna Murthy Secretary of Technovista,
Sri B.Ramji Treasurer Sri S.Baliah Advisor and several other executive members.
Where is location of College ?
The college is located in
Suryapet Dist midway between Hyderabad
and Vijayawada two major cities situated on NH65. It is just two hours
drive either from Hyderabad or
Vijayawada. Suryapet is a District Head quarter which is noted as Grade one
Municipality having multiple industries and institutes and business centres,
hospitals etc.
